[Skim-app-users] Skim changes view after reloading

Hi all,

I have a question concerning Skim's reload behaviour. I seem to remember that Skim displays the same view after automatically reloading a pdf-file produced via pdflatex. Some time ago I realised that this was (no longer?) the case: I have to activate the window and scroll to the point that was desplayed before the reload. The page is remebered but not the scroll point. After reload I always see the top of the page. Is there a hidden option that I might have changed?

Thanks,
J.

PDFKit on Sierra seems to have a bug with scrolling to a point programmatically that pops up in various places, like this. Apple seems to suggest they will fix this in 10.12.2, let’s hope they do.

Thanks for the reply. I am still on El Captitan but this is probably the same issue.

This should be Sierra issue, and I don't see the problem myself on El
Capitan.
