[Skim-app-users] Click produces unwanted note

Hello,

I am using Skim 1.3.28 on Mac OS X 10.9.5. My problem is that when I
(left) click in a pdf file in skim a note appears. I do not want this
since I only occasionally add notes and I am used to clicking to
position. I thought that maybe if I unchecked Tools/Note Tool this
behavior would go away. However I cannot uncheck Tools/Note Tool.

Any suggestions?

You must have the note tool turned on. You cannot uncheck a tool mode, because you cannot have no tool (you always have one). You should just select a *different* tool mode, like the Text Tool.
